‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ final trailer out
The Skywalker saga is coming to an end with the ninth film in the third trilogy of Star Wars. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is set to release on December 20 and now the final trailer of the movie is out. It features all the characters that are expected to make an appearance and a bonus one as well. We see Kylo Ren and Rey preparing to face off in a battle against one another, on a stormy planet. The other members of the Resistance, including Poe Dameron, Finn, and BB-8, are also present. We get a glimpse of General Leia in what will be Carrie Fisher’s final appearance in any film.
The trailer kicks off with Rey running through a planet with a dense jungle with Finn’s voice in the background. The Resistance has gathered together and we get glimpses of Poe and Rose and Chewie. Then comes the scene with Rey on a stormy Endor as Kylo Ren appears confronts her. Next the Tie-Fighters zoom towards what looks like a floating asteroid of ice, and Palpatine speaks up as we see a vacant throne. Next scenes prepare us for a massive space battle.
We get a look at as C3PO as well and it seems he is getting ready to do something drastic. We get a look at Leia and Lando as well. What follows are scenes of rebels riding space horses and Rey and Kylo smashing what looks like Darth Vader’s charred helmet. This is followed by more scenes and what appears to be Emperor Palpatine in a floating chair approaching Rey as she backs off.
The pre-booking of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has set new records and it surpassed Avengers: Endgame. Withing one hour of ticket pre-sales opening it crossed the record set by Avengers: Endgame.
